The UCL MBA is designed to give working business professionals the skills, insights and new perspectives they need to advance their career with access to global networks and a focus on the future of business. This empowers you to understand data’s uses in the modern world, its advantages and how to utilise it in both your own career and your organisation.
Programme Requirements
Access on-demand learning to fit around your schedule, with 1.5 hours of live classes per week with faculty and peers on each module. You can also adjust your workload each term by taking 1-2 modules, or a break from modules when needed.
The UCL MBA can be completed in as little as 24 months or up to 60 months depending on your personal and professional schedule.
You will gain strong foundational knowledge of business through eight core modules, specialist knowledge through the choice of four electives and a bespoke opportunity to analyse and forecast growth for an organisation or industry through the capstone project. The programme structure includes:
- 8 core modules (120 credits) that equip you with a strong foundational knowledge of business processes, practices and functions.
- 4 elective modules (60 credits) that enhance knowledge accrued in the core modules and help you refine your expertise.
- 1 capstone project (30 credits) that utilises techniques learned in the programme to analyse and forecast growth potential for a focal organisation or industry.

Meet the Programme Director
Harveen Chugh is the Director of the UCL MBA and Professor of Entrepreneurship at the UCL School of Management. She specialises in entrepreneurship education and designing new programmes, most recently the Pathway to High Growth programme for Minority Supplier Development UK (MSDUK).
Harveen brings experience of leadership and teaching from business schools including Warwick and Imperial. She has coached and mentored many entrepreneurs over the years, including on the Royal Academy of Engineering LIF programme, university programmes and for pitch competitions. She has won a number of recent awards including the WeAreTheCity Rising Star Award in 2023, which recognises female leadership, and was named as one of the Best 40 Under 40 Business School Professors by Poets & Quants in 2019.
