This summer, UCL School of Management welcomed alumni back to One Canada Square for its third annual Alumni Reunion, bringing together graduates celebrating five, ten and fifteen years since graduation.
Centred around the themes of Sustainability and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), the reunion provided an opportunity for alumni to reconnect with classmates, hear the latest School updates and explore the ideas shaping the future of business and society.
Guests also heard from School Director Professor Davide Ravasi and Deputy Director Professor Alan Parkinson, who shared updates on the School’s recent achievements and future ambitions.
The academic programme featured two faculty-led sessions exploring some of today’s most pressing business challenges. Associate Professor Sanaz Mobasseri opened the day with Leading Through Chaos: Mastering Complexity and Workplace Equity, an interactive discussion examining the skills and mindsets needed to lead effectively in increasingly complex organisations. Drawing on research into social networks, workplace inequality and organisational behaviour, the session offered practical strategies for navigating uncertainty, and managing conflict while maintaining trust.
The second session, Turning Sustainability into Competitive Advantage: Strategy, AI & Real-World Impact, was led by Professor Paolo Taticchi and Professor Onesun Steve Yoo, Co-Directors of the UCL Centre for Sustainable Business. They explored how organisations can respond to global sustainability challenges and highlighted how collaboration, data, and AI are helping businesses create measurable impact while strengthening competitiveness.
Alongside the talks, alumni enjoyed one-to-one careers consultations, professional headshots, complimentary faculty-authored books and a networking drinks reception, creating opportunities to reconnect with former classmates and expand professional networks.
