Description

On Thursday 19 February, UCL School of Management’s team behind the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs for Ukraine Lecture Series will host ‘Purpose Through Resilience: Ukrainian Business Amid War,’ an evening that marks the fourth anniversary of the war against Ukraine and reminds the international community of its ongoing humanitarian, social and political impact.

The evening will highlight the resilience, determination, and strong work ethics of Ukrainians, who despite the war, have continued to establish businesses, launch enterprises and develop meaningful projects. With the ongoing support from the United Kingdom, the event seeks to demonstrate how this support translates into real stories of entrepreneurship, innovation and positive social and economic impact.

The evening will begin with opening remarks and keynote presentations from speakers who have launched social initiatives supporting the integration of the Ukrainian community into a new environment. Followed by a panel discussion that features Ukrainian entrepreneurs who have successfully established and developed businesses, demonstrating resilience and innovation, despite the challenges of war and displacement. Together, they will explore the idea and practice of turning challenges into innovation and business. Concluding the session, we will invite guests to join the School for networking drinks and canapés, as we stand together in support of the Ukrainian community.
