Professor in Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Operations or Analytics

As part of a continuing expansion, the School of Management seeks to appoint a world-leading scholar as a Professor in Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Operations or Analytics. 

The successful candidate will be required to carry out research at a world-leading standard in in terms of originality, significance and rigour, publish in top journals in the field; play a leading role in helping to maintain the research environment within the School, and engage in external activities that bring national and international esteem to the School and UCL; teach and supervise students at undergraduate, graduate and PhD level; and contribute to the development and implementation of a high quality curriculum. The school’s research facilities and support are excellent. The teaching load of two courses per year is light and designed to maximise research time.

The successful candidate will have a track record of world-leading research excellence in the area of strategic management, as evidenced by a range of publications in top management journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Administrative Science Quarterly, Marketing Science, Management Science, Organization Science, and Strategic Management Journal. They are expected to demonstrate leadership in their research field, reflected by leading a department, research group or centre and having journal editorships and research awards. They will also need to demonstrate engagement with business and policy and have a record of successful supervision and mentoring of graduate students and research staff.
