Associate Professor in Finance/Financial Economics - Ref:1873737

As part of its continuing expansion it the field of Finance, University College London (UCL) seeks to appoint an Associate Professor in a joint position at the UCL School of Management (in the Finance, Accounting & Economics) and the Department of Economics (In the Centre for Finance).

The post holder will be expected to carry out research in Financial Economics, and produce publications, or other research outputs, at an internationally significant standard in terms of originality, significance and rigour, in line with personal and School objectives agreed in the Staff Review and School planning processes.

The starting date for this post will be 1st August 2021, or as soon as possible thereafter.

Key Requirements - The successful candidate will have publications or other research outputs research at an internationally significant standard, and is expected to have demonstrated leadership in the chosen research field through having led a research group or centre; having experience of journal editorship; and having won research awards. The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate engagement with business and policy and have a record of successful supervision and mentoring of PhD students.
