Wei Miao is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the UCL School of Management. He joined UCL in 2020 after obtaining his Ph.D. in Marketing from the National University of Singapore. Wei also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Fudan University.
Wei Miao’s research focuses on the sharing economy (particularly the ride-sharing market), platform economics, digital marketing, and empirical industrial organization. He applies both econometric and experimental methods in his research projects. He is also broadly interested in topics related to emerging markets.
