UCL School of Management Professor delivers Keynote Address at ROGE Conference

UCL School of Management Deputy Director and Professor Alan Parkinson has delivered a Keynote Address at the 11th International Conference on Restructuring of the Global Economy (ROGE). Held at the University of Oxford’s Said Business School and organised by the Centre for Business & Economic Research (CBER), the conference explores an array of issues in all aspects of business management and management education.

Speaking at the event earlier this month, Alan’s address focused on the ways in which an evolving accountancy profession can help with the post-pandemic restructuring of the global economy. At the same gathering, Alan was also honoured with the award of an Honorary Fellowship of the Centre for Business & Economic Research (CBER).

Aside from his professorial work here at the UCL School of Management, Alan is a qualified accountant with qualifications from both the FCCA and ACMA/CGMA. He has also held various Visiting Professor positions at several international universities, specialising in Managerial Accounting and Financial Management.
