UCL School of Management alumna shares career advice for women in tech

UCL School of Management alumna Alejandra García recently featured in a panel at online retailer Zalando’s internal Women in Tech event to discuss the advice she would give to women just starting a career in the tech industry. Currently the company’s Head of Product Management and Analytics, Alejandra graduated from the School’s MSc Business Analytics programme in 2018 and joined Zalando shortly after.

The panel unanimously expressed that a two-way and communicative relationship is important for establishing a common ground that benefits both parties. As for career growth, Alejandra highlights the importance of new challenges that enable learning and growth on a day-to-day basis - a message echoed by her fellow panellists.
