From Kuwait to London: A visit from GUST Students

Recently, UCL School of Management had the pleasure of hosting a group of students from Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST) as part of their global immersion programme. Led by Associate Professor Michael Manlangit, the visit aimed to provide GUST students with insights into the programmes offered at UCL and experience the vibrant atmosphere at Canary Wharf.

The students delved into various aspects of UCL School of Management’s curriculum, including finance, marketing, management, and international business. The sessions left the students feeling inspired and motivated to pursue their academic and entrepreneurial aspirations, with many expressing interest in furthering their studies at UCL School of Management.

GUST expressed gratitude to UCL School of Management for the enriching visit, emphasising the collaboration between the two institutions as a testament to their shared commitment to academic excellence and the development of future leaders in various fields.

Reflecting on their experience, GUST students shared their appreciation for the engaging presentations and the insights gained from learning about UCL’s legacy of inclusivity and exceptional academic programmes. Students felt the experience helped equip them with valuable insights and inspiration to excel in their chosen fields.

The visiting students described their experience as “truly inspiring” and highlighted the importance of developing a global business mindset, drawing inspiration from success stories within UCL’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
