Ersin Körpeoğlu nominated for INFORMS Doctoral Dissertation Award

Ersin Körpeoğlu, an Assistant Professor at UCL School of Management, has been nominated for the 2016 INFORMS Doctoral Dissertation Award.

Nominated in the Technology, Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship Section (TIMES), Ersin will be competing against fellow academics to win the chance present his work in a special session at the 2016 Annual INFORMS conference in Nashville, TN, from November 13-16, 2016.

His paper, which is titled ‘Innovation and crowdsourcing contests,’ examines the optimat design of innovation and crowdsourcing contests (also called tournaments) wherein a contest organiser seeks solutions to an innovation related problem from independent agents.

Should he win, Ersin would become the 14th person to win the award since it was founded in 2002.
