Drfocused aiming to raise £300,000

A start-up created by three MSc Entrepreneurship Alumni is aiming to raise £300,000 through crowdfunding.

Artem Stalpouski, Ellie Burgess, and Dr Kit Latham, founded Drfocused, which makes software designed to help doctors complete their work faster than present alternatives, whilst studying together at UCL School of Management.

The company argues that Doctors currently spend 30% of their time entering data instead of treating patients, which increases costs for hospitals, takes time away from patients and contributes to burnout in doctors.

Their first product, to help reduce that time, is a cloud-based HR SaaS for medical admin/rostering, which has been launched with users across 75 hospitals.

Drfocused is aiming to launch an intelligent rostering platform for junior doctors and consultants in the next 12 months, and are hoping that this crowdfunding campaign will ensure they continue to progress.
