Description

Many organisations are now using virtual interviews as part of their hiring processes and they have become increasingly popular as workplaces continue to evolve to meet the needs of their employees. Graduates and more experienced professionals who are currently or will be navigating the job market are bound to encounter virtual interviews as part of employer selection processes and should take the opportunity to prepare as much as possible.

In this session you’ll learn how to make an impact in virtual interviews, by practising answering questions in a series of live virtual mock interviews taking place in different breakout rooms, and receive on the spot feedback on your strengths and areas requiring further development and practice.

In each of the mock interviews, interviewers will ask questions focussed on different competencies and strengths sought by employers, which will give you experience at using your experiences to illustrate a range of skills, while at the same time getting the perspectives of different interviewers on your performance.

By the end of the session you will be able to:

  1. Approach virtual interviews with greater confidence and experience
  2. Improve understanding of the different types of interview questions that employers ask and how to answer them
  3. Demonstrate strengths and competencies effectively to recruiters
  4. Evaluate and improve your performance at virtual interviews with the help of industry feedback
