Research Assistant

Research projects at UCL School of Management are generally focused on scientific research on creativity and innovation in organisations. The research assistant will be involved with several studies and professors working with empirical data from a variety of contexts (e.g., archival data on entrepreneurship and innovation; personality and social network data from surveys of organizations; experimental data on individual creativity) and different aspects of the research process, literature reviews, study design, data collection, and data cleaning. Previous coursework or experience in the social sciences, engineering, statistics, and/or computer science is preferred. This post will include cleaning, merging and preparing datasets for analysis in commonly used software programs (e.g., R, Stata, SPSS) and conducting literature reviews and relevant background research (e.g., gathering relevant studies, reading and coding studies, providing syntheses of relevant research).   The posts will initially be offered for a period of 12 months on an as and when basis.   Key Requirements Suitable candidates will hold an undergraduate degree in a social science, engineering, statistics, and/or computer science, experience with data management and academic research and excellent computing and an undergraduate degree in a social science, engineering, statistics, and/or computer science.   for more information or to apply for this position here.
