Programme Administrator

The MBA@ UCL programme is the first of its kind online programme delivered in partnership between UCL and 2U - our technology and service delivery provider. 2U is a publicly traded educational services company with whom UCL has a long term contractual relationship to support classroom-based online learning. Under this partnership, UCL staff are responsible for all academic decisions and module delivery, while 2U is responsible for supporting student recruitment, collecting admissions materials from prospective students, assisting faculty in developing their course materials, ongoing student support, and managing/operating the interactive learning environment (LMS and first level student support systems). This role will be pivotal in maintaining UCL academic standards while providing a bridging link between UCL central services (Admissions, Registry, Fees, etc.) and our delivery partner 2U personnel.

The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative support for all aspects of the School’s online MBA programme, including liaison with our delivery partner, 2U. In addition, the post holder will support the School’s wider teaching and learning activities, working closely with the Teaching and Learning Manager as well as the Programme Director for the MBA@ UCL

Key Requirements The role will specialise in administering the online MBA ensuring effective procedures are documented and adopted for dealing with all aspects including enquiries, applications, marketing, engagement of external contacts, assessments, student support and events. The post will lead in achieving a high quality and timely service to current and prospective students, alumni and staff relating to the designated courses/programmes and beyond. This role will be responsible for line managing a Teaching and Learning Administrator dedicated to supporting the online MBA.   To apply for the vacancy please see here.
