About the role
UCL School of Management is seeking an experienced alumni relations professional with a passion for data management and keen interest in global engagement to help develop and fulfil the School’s alumni engagement strategy. The role supports the School’s alumni relations team in maintaining the alumni database, whilst nurturing relationships with our growing international alumni community. Proficient in database management, analysis and reporting, the postholder will act as the primary contact for the alumni database, leading data update drives and producing insightful reports for School of Management and wider UCL colleagues. The role will support data collection and interpretation for School accreditation and ranking initiatives, whilst actively increasing the number of alumni we are able to contact. Along with the data-focused aspect of the role, the postholder will also support the Alumni Relations Manager to develop and implement an extensive global alumni engagement strategy. This includes fostering meaningful relationships with our global alumni, utilising alumni data to identify regional hubs, managing alumni volunteer opportunities, and planning and executing international alumni events. The Alumni Relations Officer will also collaborate closely with other School teams including Marketing and Communications, Careers, Teaching and Learning and Student Experience.
About you
Educated to degree level, the postholder will be required to build and sustain relationships with a variety of international stakeholders, and therefore must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills whilst maintaining a high level of cultural awareness. The ability to work effectively and calmly under pressure whilst delivering high quality service standards is vital, as is the ability to work independently to tight deadlines with minimum supervision.
