Biography

Paolo Taticchi is an award-winning academic, consultant, author, and speaker based in London. He is Professor of Strategy and Sustainability and Deputy Director at University College London’s School of Management, where he also co-directs the UCL Centre for Sustainable Business. He is a Visiting Professor at Imperial College London and holds a research appointment at New York University.

Recognised globally for his work on sustainability transformation, competitive strategy, and the future of cities, Paolo has educated leaders in over 20 countries and delivered 250+ keynotes worldwide. His research on corporate sustainability and performance has been featured in over 50 academic publications and several books, including How to Be Sustainable - Business Strategies for Leading Change (2025) and Disruption (2023).

Paolo has consulted for organisations across diverse industries and governments in Europe, North America, Africa, and Asia. He sits on numerous advisory boards and is a passionate mentor and social impact advocate, having led projects in Kenya, Ethiopia, and Italy.

As an entrepreneur, he has co-founded ventures in engineering, tech, and consulting, and launched major educational initiatives, including an MBA programme and international internship schemes. His work has earned accolades such as the Thinkers50 Radar List (2025), the Stefan A. Riesenfeld Memorial Award (2024), and the Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.

Paolo holds degrees in engineering and management from the University of Perugia and Bradford School of Management, and completed executive education at Harvard Business School. He has visited 56 countries and led business projects on six continents.
