The UCL School of Management SustainTech Pitching Competition

We are excited to announce the UCL School of Management SustainTech Pitching Competition.

Are you passionate about sustainability and digital transformation? Do you have a startup idea that you’re eager to develop? UCL School of Management are looking to support startups with an exciting new competition open to all UCL staff, researchers, students and alumni who want to use their business idea to make a positive impact on the world.

In collaboration with SustainTech consulting company Tecno International and led by UCL School of Management’s Paolo Taticchi and Pierre-Jean Hanard, the UCL SustainTech Pitching Competition is looking for aspiring and existing entrepreneurs seeking to help the planet and its people. To enter this exciting competition, you’ll need to complete the form below and submit a video pitch of no more than 4 minutes in length that should provide a strong overview of your business idea, including the name, purpose and objectives of the business, as well as the problem/s that your business would hope to solve.

After you have submitted your pitch, our team of sustainability experts will review all submissions and the selected teams will be invited to pitch their idea to a panel of judges for the chance to win one of three prizes: Best Pitch, Best Idea and Audience Choice Award. The winning team for each category will receive a £1000 cash prize, 12 months of Business and Technical Mentorship, and an introduction to Tecno International’s business partners.

We will be accepting applications until Sunday 14 May 2023, 23:59 GMT. In the coming weeks, we will provide more information about the competition’s in-person pitching event held in Canary Wharf on 21 June 2023.

Please upload your video pitch using the form below. Please note that you will need to enter your UCL email address in order to complete the form. If you are entering as alumni, please provide either your previous UCL student email address or your current UCL alumni email address.
