Before joining the MBA, he served as Assistant Chairman of the Base for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Jiu San Society (Beijing), where he led the commercialisation of research from Peking University and Tsinghua University. He also worked with China Minmetals Corporation on the procurement of non-ferrous metals from global markets, and contributed to industrial park planning in Anhui, Guizhou, and Jiangsu with the China Intercontinental Communication Center (CICC), affiliated with the State Council Information Office of the PRC.
Jimmy aims to leverage his mentoring and community-building experience to contribute meaningfully to the UCL School of Management Alumni Advisory Council (AAC). He is committed to strengthening connections between the global alumni network and the China-based alumni community, with a focus on professional development, cross-border collaboration, and cultural exchange.
Jimmy has already advanced this vision in practice as a co-lead of the UCL Beijing Alumni Club Management Chapter (MC). The MC is a thematic, non-profit, volunteer-led alumni chapter formally recognised by UCL within its global alumni framework, focused on management, business, finance, and related fields. Through this work, Jimmy seeks to co-create a sustainable alumni engagement ecosystem that delivers shared value for members, strengthens long-term alumni participation, and supports the advancement and global reputation of the UCL School of Management.
