UCL School of Management is delighted to offer scholarships of up to £10,000 for a select number of outstanding candidates on the MSc Finance programme in the 2025/26 academic year.
Scholarships will be awarded to candidates in one of the following categories:
- Women in Finance Scholarship – Scholarships will be given to outstanding female candidates who apply to the programme.
- Global Finance Scholarship - Scholarships will be given to outstanding candidates applying to study from a Latin American or African country.
- The Impact Scholarship – Scholarships will be given to outstanding candidates applying to study the programme who come from low- or lower-income backgrounds and who may struggle to enrol in the programme without financial assistance.
- The Excellence Scholarship – Scholarships will be given to outstanding candidates who submit an excellent application, demonstrating academic merit, strong professional or community experience, leadership potential and a clear career plan.
All applicants who apply to the programme for 2025 entry will be considered for these scholarships, and our admissions teams will be in touch if you have been chosen.

There is nothing additional for candidates to do. All applicants who apply to study MSc Finance at UCL in the 2025/26 academic year and who meet the scholarship criteria will be considered for scholarship funding.
Candidates should provide an excellent application to the MSc Finance programme, demonstrating academic merit, strong professional or community experience, leadership potential and a clear career plan.
Scholarships will be awarded at the discretion of the Programme Director who reviews all applications. The decision of the Programme Director is final, and no feedback will be given as to why a scholarship was not given to a candidate.
Successful candidates will be notified of their scholarship award by the Admissions Team.
Scholarship funds will be applied as a tuition fee discount, reducing the tuition fees that students will pay to UCL.
Yes, you can combine this with other funding from other sources. However, if you already have a scholarship that covers your full tuition, you will not be eligible for these scholarships.
Typically, UCL would classify ‘low-income’ as a household with an annual income of £25,000 or less and ‘lower-income’ as £42,875 or less (or overseas equivalent), but this is a guide only as other factors are taken into account during the selection process.
