Description

Work is changing faster than at any moment in living memory, and UCL School of Management has long been at the forefront of understanding that change. From research that shapes global dialogue to alumni who transform industries, our community continues to lead conversations about the future of work.

Why this event, and why now?

Over the past quarter century, the world of work has evolved through the dot-com boom, blockchain, COVID-19, AI - and now even quantum technologies awaits in the wings. Each shift has redefined how organisations operate, how people learn and how societies adapt. We are now entering a period of profound transformation. AI is reshaping job roles, expectations and value structures, while uncertainty is challenging individuals and organisations alike.

This event brings together leading UCL voices and innovators to explore one central question: How do we prepare ourselves to learn, adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing world of work?

We will be joined by a panel of leading experts from within our School community, including:

  • Professor Anthony Klotz, Professor of Organisational Behaviour, specialising in how employees make decisions, manage change and navigate moments of transition.
  • Dr. Angela Arisitdou, Associate Professor specialising in the deployment of artificial intelligence for public good across health, education, humanitarian aid and other high-stakes sectors.
  • Professor Harveen Chugh, Professor of Entrepreneurship, specialising in programme design, entrepreneurship education, lean startup and developing the practice of coaching and mentoring for entrepreneurs.
  • Raj Singh, MSc Entrepreneurship Alum and Founder of MindHug, which empower universities, entrepreneurs, organisations to build behaviours to move from “feeling stuck” to “being ready” - in wellbeing, resilience, learning and digital change.

The future of work is already here. Let us get ready, together.
