Join us for an informative session offering an introduction to the consulting industry. This event will provide insights into the nature of consulting work, including the diverse roles and responsibilities consultants undertake to help organisations address complex challenges and enhance performance. You’ll gain an understanding of the various career paths within the sector, explore current trends in the labour market, and learn about leading employers actively recruiting in this field. Key recruitment timelines and deadlines will also be highlighted to help you plan ahead effectively. Additionally, you’ll hear from alumni working in consulting, who will share their career journeys and offer practical advice on how to leverage the career support resources available to you.
important information to book your place on the session
To book your place on events or 1:1 appointments, you must first register as alumni on the MyUCLCareers platform.
To register, please complete the ‘About You’ registration form ensuring that you:
- Use the full name that you used to enrol on your programme at UCL
- Enter a personal email address that we can contact you on
- For ‘Subject’, select the UCL programme that you will be starting in September
- For ‘Department’, select ‘UCL School of Management’ (near the bottom of the list)
- For ‘Graduation date’ enter any date in September 2025
- Enter your Student Number (SN), which you will have received from the School of Management and can be found in your application information. Please ensure that your student number is entered correctly on the registration form, as any forms without a valid student number will automatically be rejected.
You will then receive instructions on how to log in to your new account.
