I am a Ph.D. candidate specializing in Marketing/Operations Interfaces at Imperial College Business School. During my PhD, I will be working with Professor Tommaso Valletti and Associate Professor Wolfram Wiesemann.
I hold a MSc Degree in Industrial Engineering from Bilkent University and a BSc Degree (Honour Student) in BA from Middle East Technical University.
I am interested in developing mathematical models and tools to solve a wide range of business problems including marketing/operations interfaces, new product rollovers, supply chain management, global competitive strategies, consumer behaviour in operations/marketing and game theory.
With the title of “Product Release Strategies in Single and Multiple Markets”, the trilogy of essays of the PhD Thesis extends the product rollover literature and marketing/operations studies with the integration of obsolescence management and consumer attitude to pre-announcements, operation in multiple interacting markets and stretching the rollover decisions with the design and timing of pre-announcements.
I have over 5 years of industrial experience mostly focusing on strategic market intelligence, market research and trade diplomacy. My teaching experience covers a wide range of courses including Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, Business Economics, Probability and Statistics, Strategic Marketing, Strategic Management at University College London, Imperial College London, London Business School and Bilkent University.
