Student Projects Development Coordinator - Ref:1876275

The UCL School of Management is home to UCL’s business and management research and education programmes. The School has forged a reputation for world-leading research and teaching in the areas of innovation management, the creation and growth of technology-intensive organisations, business analytics and entrepreneurship.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the School in the newly created role of Student Projects Development Coordinator, acting as the administrative lead for the sourcing and coordinating of student research and consultancy projects across a range of UCL School of Management degree programmes.

You will be responsible for identifying and developing relationships with businesses who have the potential to host student projects and act as relationship manager to those with an ongoing partnership with the School. In addition to this, you will manage the School’s project administration processes, in partnership with academic leads, as well as interacting directly with the students who are undertaking research projects.

You will be part of a friendly, supportive and diverse team of professional services colleagues based on the newly renovated 50th floor of One Canada Square in Canary Wharf, at the heart of Europe’s premier finance and business district (although remote working is currently in place in line with Government guidance).

Key Requirements - You will be able to demonstrate a very high level of customer service skills and have experience in building and sustaining professional relationships with a wide range of industrial partners, academic staff, students and alumni. The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing is paramount and you must be able to work under pressure whilst delivering high quality service standards, using your own initiative to contribute to the development and improvement of administrative processes associated with the School’s business development activities.

The UCL School of Management encourages diversity and a positive culture among all faculty, staff, and students. Our school is committed to building an intellectual community in which diversity, fairness, and inclusion are valued, and we encourage applications from women and other minorities. UCL is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
