UCL’s Management Science BSc/MSci programme, launched in September 2014, provides students with an opportunity to develop strong quantitative and analytical skills, an in-depth understanding of how companies work, and a rigorous foundation in the key skills needed to build successful careers with global businesses tackling world-scale problems.

In the most recent UK National Student Survey (NSS) the UCL Management Science BSc/MSci programme achieved an overall satisfaction score of 94%, and is now the #1 rated programme in the management studies category among Russell Group business schools.

As part of the Management Science programme students take three Mathematics modules, covering calculus, dynamic modelling, linear algebra, and probability theory. They also take two Data Analytics modules, covering statistics, data visualisation, data preparation, machine learning and forecasting. As part of all these mathematics and data analysis modules student learn and apply a range of software tools and languages, including Mathematica, Tableau, Jupyter Notebooks, R and python.

Key Requirements - This Associate Professor (Teaching) position will act a module lead for at least one of the above modules, with further teaching responsibilities in the Management Science programme or supporting other programmes in the UCL School of Management. Module leads are responsible for managing and delivering all aspects of the teaching and assessment of modules, including delivering lectures, teaching in small-group seminars, and setting and marking assignments and exams.

The role holder will have a significant role in developing teaching technologies, course design and assessment techniques, including experience of contributions to module development at undergraduate, and/or postgraduate levels and experience of working with and managing teaching assistants in a higher education.
